What We Collect

When you submit a quote request through /contact/ or the site's quote form, we collect your email address and a record of the request — subject, deadline and the price quoted — and keep that record for 90 days.

When you use a free tool (the thesis statement generator, essay title maker, or essay grader) and choose to unlock the full result, we collect your contact email and store a summary of the result, such as a score band or the top suggestions returned. We do not store the text you submit into a tool: that text is processed to generate your result and then discarded, not retained in any log or database.

If you apply to write, edit or tutor for GradeDraft, we keep your application — résumé, writing sample and any credential claims — for 12 months from your application date, whether or not you are accepted into the writer pool.

How We Use It

We use the information above to respond to your quote request, staff and deliver your order, send order and account updates, evaluate writer, editor and tutor applications, and understand in aggregate which services and tools are used — never to publish a dataset that ties results back to an identifiable person.

Processors

Three categories of processor handle data on our behalf, each under its own privacy terms: our email provider, which sends and receives quote and order messages; Cloudflare, which hosts this site and provides security and content-delivery services; and our payment provider, which processes PayPal and card payments. None of these processors receive the text of your assignment beyond what each needs to do its job — your payment provider, for example, sees the amount charged, not your assignment brief.

Cookies and Analytics

This site uses first-party analytics cookies to understand which pages and tools are used. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers, and analytics data is reviewed in aggregate rather than tied to a name.

Your Rights

If you are a California resident, CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we hold, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale — we do not sell personal information. If you are in Canada, PIPEDA gives you the right to access and correct your personal information and to know why it was collected. Under CASL and CAN-SPAM, every marketing email identifies GradeDraft as the sender and includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor opt-out and access requests within 10 business days. Retention and Deletion

When you unlock a free tool's full result, that unlock is stored in your browser's localStorage for 30 days so you can return to your saved result without re-entering your email. Clearing your browser data, or the 30 days passing, removes that local copy; it does not automatically delete the result summary we hold on our side, which you can request separately.

On request, we purge your data everywhere we hold it, including copies of your quote and order messages in our inbox and any export-sheet or spreadsheet copies our operations team keeps for order tracking. We confirm by email once a purge request is complete.

Children

GradeDraft is intended for high-school students age 13 and older through college, graduate and adult learners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact contact@gradedraft.com and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here with a new "last updated" date. If a change is material, we note it clearly at the top of this page.
