Three mechanisms, drawn
Most competing pages describe a curved-arrow mechanism in prose and never draw one - one organic chemistry page running over 4,500 words quotes a mechanism question in its own FAQ and leaves it unanswered. Below are three, drawn with every arrow named.
SN2 on a primary halide: inversion shown
Problem. 1-bromopropane reacts with hydroxide in an SN2 substitution. Show the mechanism and product.
Two arrows, one step: (1) a lone pair on hydroxide's oxygen attacks the carbon bearing bromine, from the side directly opposite the C-Br bond; (2) the C-Br bond breaks, its electron pair moving onto bromine, which leaves as bromide. Backside attack means the three untouched bonds flip position like an umbrella turning inside out - the geometric signature of SN1 / SN2 / E1 / E2 mechanisms graders look for. Product: 1-propanol. This carbon isn't a stereocenter, so no R/S label changes here; the next mechanism shows where that label does flip.
SN1 with carbocation rearrangement
Problem. 2-bromo-3-methylbutane solvolyzes in water. Show the mechanism and major product.
Three steps: (1) the C2-Br bond breaks heterolytically, electrons leaving with bromide, forming a secondary carbocation at C2; (2) a hydride on the adjacent C3 shifts to C2, moving the positive charge to C3 - now tertiary, and more stable; (3) water's oxygen lone pair attacks C3, then a second water molecule removes a proton from the resulting -OH2+ to give the neutral alcohol. Product: 2-methyl-2-butanol, not the secondary alcohol a straight substitution would predict - the rearrangement is the part of SN1 problems students skip.
E2 with the anti-periplanar requirement
Problem. 2-bromobutane with the bulky base potassium tert-butoxide. Show the mechanism and major product.
One concerted step, three arrows: the base removes a proton from C1, anti-periplanar (180°) to the C-Br bond on C2; that C-H bond's electrons form the new pi bond; the C-Br bond breaks as bromide leaves. The anti-periplanar geometry is mandatory - eclipsed or gauche won't align the orbitals for a smooth elimination. Because the base is bulky, it reaches the less-hindered C1 proton, giving the Hofmann product, 1-butene, rather than the more-substituted Zaitsev alkene a small base like ethoxide would favor.
Where stereochemistry decides the mark
Stereochemistry / R and S assignment is where SN2 marks are actually lost. Take (S)-2-bromobutane reacting with hydroxide by SN2: backside attack inverts the spatial arrangement at C2, and because bromine and the incoming hydroxyl rank at the same CIP priority position, the descriptor flips too - the product is (R)-2-butanol, not (S)-2-butanol. Drawing the right connectivity with the wrong wedge-and-dash earns partial credit at best.
Chemistry homework we handle
Beyond mechanisms, chemistry homework covers a set of recurring problem types, each worked with real numbers.
Stoichiometry and limiting reagent
Limiting reagent - stoichiometry (composite sample written by GradeDraft)
Problem. 4.0 mol N₂ reacts with 9.0 mol H₂ to form ammonia (N₂ + 3H₂ → 2NH₃). Which reagent limits, and how much NH₃ forms?
- Write the balanced equation: N₂ + 3H₂ → 2NH₃.
- Find the H₂ that would be needed to consume all the N₂: 4.0 mol N₂ × 3 = 12.0 mol H₂.
- Compare to what's on hand: only 9.0 mol H₂ is available, so H₂ is the limiting reagent.
- Convert the available H₂ to product: moles NH₃ = 9.0 × (2/3) = 6.0 mol.
- Find the leftover N₂: 9.0 mol H₂ consumes 3.0 mol N₂ (1:3 ratio), leaving 4.0 − 3.0 = 1.0 mol N₂ unreacted.
Boxed answer: H₂ is limiting; 6.0 mol NH₃ forms; 1.0 mol N₂ remains unreacted.
Equilibrium and Le Chatelier
A system at equilibrium shifts to relieve a stress: adding reactant shifts the equilibrium toward products, raising temperature on an endothermic forward reaction shifts it forward, and increasing pressure shifts a gas-phase equilibrium toward the side with fewer moles. Some equilibrium problems reduce to a quadratic in x once the ICE table is set up; see forms of quadratic equations for how we solve those cleanly.
Thermodynamics and Hess's law
Hess's law adds the enthalpies of a sequence of steps to find the enthalpy of an overall reaction that's hard to measure directly - the path doesn't matter, only the start and end states.
Acid-base and titration curves
For 25.0 mL of 0.100 M acetic acid (pKa 4.76) titrated with 0.100 M NaOH: at half-equivalence (12.5 mL added), pH = pKa = 4.76 by Henderson-Hasselbalch, since [A⁻] = [HA]. At equivalence (25.0 mL), the solution is sodium acetate, a weak base, so pH rises above 7 rather than landing at 7.
Organic chemistry: synthesis, spectroscopy and the rest of the course
Multi-step synthesis and retrosynthesis
A synthesis route / retrosynthesis problem works backward from the target molecule, breaking bonds at logical disconnections until the starting materials are recognizable - the reverse of how the forward synthesis reads.
NMR and IR problem sets: reading the spectrum
NMR and IR spectroscopy problems ask you to match peak positions and splitting patterns to a structure: IR carbonyl stretches near 1700 cm⁻¹, NMR integration ratios, and coupling patterns that reveal how many neighboring hydrogens a proton has.
Nomenclature and stereochemistry assignments
IUPAC naming and R/S or E/Z assignment round out the course; both get checked against ChemDraw- or MarvinSketch-style structures in what we deliver, not typed descriptions.
Ario organic chemistry is one of several AI tools students search for by name; it produces plausible-looking answers the same way the general solvers below do, with the same stereochemistry blind spot - see the AI section for what that looks like on a real problem.
Organic chemistry tutor sessions vs written solutions
What "The Organic Chemistry Tutor" videos are good for
"The Organic Chemistry Tutor" - sometimes searched as "the mean formulas organic chemistry tutor" - is a YouTube channel, not a service; its videos are genuinely useful for a first pass through a concept like SN1 vs SN2.
When you need a written, marked-up solution instead
A video teaches the concept; it doesn't solve the problem on your set, due tonight. That's a chemistry organic tutor session or a written solution - Tutor.com, TutorBin, and 24HourAnswers all run live organic chemistry tutor online sessions for exactly this, useful too for MCAT-bound premed students revisiting a weak topic.
Biology homework help
Biology homework help is the smaller half of this page by search volume but not by depth - genetics, cell biology, ecology, and anatomy all get the same worked-example treatment as chemistry.
Genetics: Punnett squares, dihybrid crosses, pedigrees
Problem. Cross two pea plants heterozygous for seed shape (Rr) and seed color (Yy): RrYy × RrYy. Find the phenotype ratio.
| RY | Ry | rY | ry | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| RY | RRYY | RRYy | RrYY | RrYy |
| Ry | RRYy | RRyy | RrYy | Rryy |
| rY | RrYY | RrYy | rrYY | rrYy |
| ry | RrYy | Rryy | rrYy | rryy |
Scroll horizontally to compare all columns.
Tallying the 16 boxes gives 9 round-yellow : 3 round-green : 3 wrinkled-yellow : 1 wrinkled-green - the classic dihybrid cross ratio Mendel's pea work established. A three-gene or sex-linked pedigree problem follows the same logic with a bigger grid or an added X/Y column.
Cell biology and metabolism
Cell respiration and photosynthesis are the two metabolic pathways students confuse most: respiration breaks glucose down for ATP (releasing CO₂), while photosynthesis builds glucose from CO₂ and water using light energy - inverse processes, not competing ones.
Ecology and population problems
Population-growth and carrying-capacity problems, predator-prey cycles, and energy-pyramid calculations round out the ecology unit, each solved with the specific numbers your problem set gives.
Anatomy and physiology coursework
A&P problem sets - homeostasis feedback loops, organ-system diagrams, lab-based physiology questions - get the same worked, labelled treatment as the rest of this page; biology hw and bio homework requests here span both.
Lab data, graphs and write-ups
Lab data and graphs work is worksheet-level: plotting your own measurements, not composing a full report.
Plotting and interpreting your own data
We plot the data you collected, fit a trendline where the assignment calls for one, and interpret the slope or intercept in terms of the quantity it represents. For confidence intervals or a distribution lookup on top of your raw readings, see z table and statistics basics; if the worksheet expects a script rather than a spreadsheet to process the readings, see do my programming homework.
Error and uncertainty in a chemistry lab
Percent error and propagated uncertainty from instrument precision get carried through a calculation the same way physics homework help handles it, not dropped at the final answer. For a full regression across many trials, see statistics for lab data analysis.
Where a data write-up ends and a formal lab report begins
Plotting and interpreting your own measurements is what this section covers. A full lab report - abstract, discussion, references - is a different deliverable, closer to written science assignments and reports; the GradeDraft homework desk routes that request through do my homework for me.
Do my chemistry homework: send the problem set
What we need: the set, the textbook, the notation your course uses
Send the problem set, your textbook (OpenStax Chemistry, OpenStax Biology, or your course pack), and the drawing convention your instructor uses.
What comes back: drawn structures, not descriptions
Every structure, mechanism, and diagram comes back drawn, not described in a paragraph - do my chemistry homework for me and pay someone to do my chemistry homework requests both get the same standard, matched to the notation your course uses.
Turnaround
Same-night and 24-hour delivery are standard, from $25 per problem after review, whether it's science assignment help or help me with science homework. GradeDraft is independent of and not affiliated with Pearson Mastering Chemistry, WileyPLUS, or ALEKS. If your course runs the set through one of those platforms rather than a plain problem set, see online homework answers (XYZ, MyLab, Pearson) for how attempt limits and randomized numbers change a quote.
Can AI do organic chemistry and biology homework?
Why pattern-matching tools miss stereochemistry
We ran the (S)-2-bromobutane SN2 substitution from above through a general-purpose organic chemistry solver. It named the product correctly as 2-butanol but drew it with the original (S) configuration retained, instead of the inverted (R) enantiomer the backside attack produces - right connectivity, wrong molecule, the exact failure a stereochemistry-graded problem catches.
Biology AI solvers and the fluent-but-wrong problem
Asked for the phenotype ratio on a dihybrid cross like the one above, a biology ai solver returned 3:1 - correct for a single-gene monohybrid cross, wrong for two independently assorting genes, where the answer is 9:3:3:1. Fluent, confident, and collapsing two traits into one.

Chemistry and biology questions, answered
Can someone do my chemistry homework?
Yes. Send the problem set, your textbook, and your course's notation convention, and we quote a fixed price per problem, from $25, after a quick review - every structure and mechanism comes back drawn, not described in a paragraph you have to translate yourself.
Can someone do my biology homework?
Yes, at the same per-problem pricing as chemistry, from $25 after review. Genetics crosses, cell-biology and ecology problems, and anatomy questions all come back with any required diagram drawn as an editable figure, not a flattened image you can't relabel.
Does organic chemistry have math in it?
Some - pH and equilibrium calculations, rate laws, and stoichiometry all use algebra - but most of the course is pattern recognition: naming structures, predicting mechanisms, and reading spectra, which is why drawn practice matters more than formula memorization for most students.
What is the best AI for biology homework?
No AI solver reliably tracks two genes at once the way the dihybrid-cross failure above shows; they're useful for checking a single calculation once you already trust your method, but not for a full genetics, ecology, or multi-step physiology problem set on their own.
Can an AI solver do organic chemistry mechanisms?
It can name a product, but the stereochemistry failure shown above - retaining a configuration that backside attack should invert - repeats across general-purpose tools, since none of them reliably track three-dimensional geometry through a multi-step mechanism the way a drawn arrow-pushing sequence does.
Do you cover AP Chemistry and AP Biology?
Yes, both, tutored at $55/hour or solved as problem sets, matched to the free-response format both AP Chemistry and AP Biology exams use, with every structure, mechanism, and diagram delivered as an editable file rather than a flattened image.
What is a science assignment?
A science assignment covers any graded problem set, lab worksheet, or written response in a science course - chemistry, biology, or a combined course - and this page handles all three at the per-problem pricing above, from a single stoichiometry question to a full problem set.
